Who this policy covers
MMG Cleaning Services LLC ("MMG", "we", "us") is a locally owned cleaning company serving Atlantic County, New Jersey and the surrounding South Jersey area. This policy applies to this website and to estimate requests you send through it.
It does not cover other companies' websites or apps, including any you reach by following a link from here.
What you send us
The estimate form asks for a small set of details, and nothing on this site collects them until you choose to submit the form.
Four questions about the job, answered by choosing an option:
- The type of cleaning you need
- Roughly how big the space is
- How often you would like us
- When you would like to start
Then how to reach you:
- Your name — required
- Your phone number — required
- Your town, chosen from a list — required
- Your email address — optional
- Anything else you want us to know — optional, free text
Please keep the free-text box to what helps us quote the work — pets, parking, problem areas. There is no reason to include payment details, identification numbers or health information, and we ask you not to.
If you call, email or message us instead, we receive whatever you choose to tell us that way.
What is sent along with your request
So we know where a request came from, the form also sends a few technical details with it:
- The address of the page you were on when you submitted
- The page that referred you to our site, if your browser provided one
- Any campaign tags in the web address, if you arrived from an ad or a link we shared
- The date and time your request reached us
These tell us which parts of the site are working. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not shared with any advertising service.
Saving your place in the form
If you answer a few questions and do not finish, your browser holds those answers so you do not lose them. This uses session storage, which is part of your browser — not a cookie, and not something we can read from our side.
Only the four multiple-choice answers are held this way. Your name, phone number, email address and notes are never stored in your browser. What is stored is cleared as soon as your request is sent, and it disappears when you close the tab.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to:
- Reply to your request and answer questions about it
- Work out a price and give you a quote
- Arrange, schedule and carry out the cleaning if you go ahead
- Keep a record of the enquiry and the work we have done for you
We contact you about the request you made. We do not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an estimate request.
Keeping the form working
To stop automated systems flooding the form, our server keeps a short-lived note of the network address a submission came from and counts how many arrive from it. That note is held in the server's memory for one hour and then expires.
It exists to limit submissions, not to identify you. It is not linked to your request, not stored alongside it, and not used for analytics or advertising.
Who else handles your information
We keep this list as short as we can. Three companies are involved in running the site:
- Resend — delivers the email carrying your estimate request to us, and the confirmation email to you if you gave an address. Your details pass through their service so the message can be sent, and their own privacy policy governs how they handle it.
- Google — provides the Google Analytics measurement service described in 'Cookies and analytics'. It receives usage and technical data from your browser. It does not receive what you type into the estimate form.
- Our website hosting provider — runs the server that delivers these pages. Like any web host, it receives the requests your browser makes in order to answer them.
We give them only what they need to do that job, and we do not authorise either of them to use your information for their own marketing.
Email, WhatsApp and social links
When your estimate request reaches us it arrives as an email, and it stays in our business email account. If you gave us an email address, we also send you a short confirmation, and we may reply to you at that address.
The WhatsApp button opens a conversation with us in WhatsApp. That is a service run by Meta, not by us — following that link takes you out of our website, and what happens there is covered by Meta's own terms and privacy policy. The same applies to our Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Yelp links, and to the Google profile our reviews come from.
Nothing on this page loads content from those messaging, social or review services, so none of them hears from your browser unless you click through. The Google Analytics measurement described under 'Cookies and analytics' is a separate service and is not connected to our reviews profile.
How long we keep it
Two things have a fixed life, and both are set in the software: the answers your browser saves in the form disappear when your request is sent or the tab closes, and the rate-limiting note described above expires within an hour.
Your estimate request itself arrives as an email and is kept for as long as we need it to answer you, carry out any work you book, and keep ordinary business records. If you would like us to delete your details, ask us — see 'Your choices' below.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us and to limit who can see it.
No website, email system or business can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. That is part of why we ask you to keep sensitive details out of the estimate form.
Children's privacy
Our services are for householders and businesses, and this site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us their information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You are never required to send us anything. You can call us instead of using the form, and the email and notes fields are optional.
If you want to know what we hold about you, correct something that is wrong, or have your details deleted, get in touch using the contact details below and tell us what you would like. We will do what we reasonably can, subject to any records we are required to keep.
If you would rather we stopped contacting you, say so and we will stop.
Links to other sites
This site links to a few places we do not control, including WhatsApp, our social media profiles and our Google reviews. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and we would encourage you to read the policy of any site you visit.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle your information changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than leaving you to spot it.
